PROJECT SPOTLIGHT:
ELECTRIC TUG TUULI C
Snow & Co., Seattle, has launched the first battery-powered electric ship-assist tug in an eight-vessel series being built for Curtin Maritime, Long Beach, Calif., with Los Angeles-based Arc providing the battery and battery management system integration.
WorkBoat visited the shipyard in April as two 2,000-hp Schottel L-drive propulsion units were being installed aboard the 80’9”x42’3” tug Tuuli C, and crews prepared the vessel for launch.Snow brought in Manson's Derrick 24, a much larger floating crane, also leading Snow & Co. to develop an alternative approach to move the vessel out of the building using eight air casters.

Snow & Company is proud to present the build and delivery of the Work Boat LG, which was developed for the US Navy.

PILOT BOAT SAVANNAH
In early March 2022, Snow & Company handed off Savannah, the first of two new 64 ft Aluminum Pilot Boats to the Savannah Pilots Association. Designed by Camarc Design, of the UK, the single chine, flush deck 5086 aluminum vessel is the third pilot boat that Camarc has designed for the Savannah pilots.

Snow & Company is proud to announce the launch of Golden Gate, the sister boat to Savannah, a 64 ft Aluminum Pilot Boat. Designed by Camarc Design, of the UK, is a single chine, flush deck 5086 aluminum vessel.
